Our Story
Our story began with the legendary Charlie George, who kicked things off in Memphis, Tennessee, crafting wrought iron mailbox stands. Then, he and his wife, Jean, packed up their 1945 Ford station wagon (and everything they owned!) and headed to sunny Arizona. Fast forward to the 70s, and the "George boys"—Chuck, Brad, and Randy—jumped in full-time, making us the one and only George & Son Steel LLC!
Since 1957, the George family and George & Son Steel LLC have been shaping the world of carports, fabricating and installing over 350,000 of them across Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, California, and Florida.
